WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO!

Commitment, transparency, inspiration. These three values have stood at the center of the North Carolina Gullah Geechee Greenway Blueway Heritage Trail mission since our beginning during Black History Month - 2020.

 

We have wholeheartedly committed to the work we do with passion and dedication as we partner with Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender County communities and inviting others to take part.

 

On top of this, we constantly challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to all that we do.

Our mission drives us towards continued success to preserve, protect and celebration the Gullah Geechee people and their connection to the Lower Cape Fear River Area.
